The Thrill is Gone: Brief Shalimar annual Salon

The Thrill is Gone: Brief Shalimar annual Salon

The Thrill Is Gone, the fourth edition of the Brief Shalimar Salon, will take place on 28 March 2026, from 16:00 to 21:00, at 3 Rue Française, 75001 Paris. The event will include installations, performances, and panel discussions.

The themes of this edition of the salon revolve around community, conversation, and collaboration. In this spirit, participating artists in The Thrill Is Gone have been paired to form a series of collaborative exchanges.

Each pair is invited to engage in a shared process through a sequence of studio visits—taking turns entering one another’s working environments over the coming weeks. These brief rendezvous are conceived as moments of dialogue, offering insight into individual practices while opening up space for connection, reflection, and exchange.

I have been paired up with Paris based Indian artist Gayatri JUVEKAR for this dialogue, and we have visited each others’ studio to complete the tasks given from the
Brief Shalimar team!
